The Book report
Book reports may be required by teachers who want to know whether their students have read the books assigned and how well they understand those books. If they are not required, students may as well write one or two for themselves, for writing book reports helps students to improve their reading comprehension and their ability to analyze and evaluate books. Moreover, it is very good written practice.
1. Three Main Parts of a Book report
Generally speaking, a book report consists of the following three main parts: ? Information about the author and his times
? A summary of the book
? Comments on it
A description of the author’s times should be given together with a brief account of his life. It should include the circumstances that led to the writing of the book under discussion and the historical and social background related to the content of the book. To make these things clear, the writer perhaps needs to read some reference material, such as biographies of the author and histories of the period described in the book.

《简爱》读书心得
难道就因为我一贫如洗，默默无闻，长相平庸，个子瘦小，就没有灵魂，没有心肠了——你想错了，我的心灵跟你一样丰富，我的心胸一样充实！

每当看到这一段，眼前就闪烁着“简”那倔强的下颚和在黑暗中站的笔直的身躯，想象着她在犹如儿童的人间地狱的孤儿院如何顽强地生存下去。无论什么困难在“简”面前都那么一堪不击，她总有信心去面对，去击败它。
从小失去父母的她，不仅没有得到亲戚温暖的怀抱，还被关禁在紧闭的红房子里、没有一起玩的玩伴；没有父母的疼爱、没有漂亮的裙子、还得忍受表哥近似疯狂的打骂，舅妈残忍的折磨，后来她进了“罗沃德孤儿院”，原以为是幸福的转折点，但现实和想象总是格格不入，她在灵魂和肉体折磨下，以顽强的意志以成绩优秀完成了学业。命运变更使她变的更坚强、强大。为了追求独立生活，她受聘在桑菲尔德庄园任家庭教师，遇见了一个闯入她心扉的男人------罗契斯特，他们相恋在那个美丽的夜晚。简以为幸福就在自己手中，当“简”穿上圣洁的婚纱的那日，阁楼上终日发疯的女人被揭开了面纱，不是别人，正是罗契斯特 的妻子。在爱情与道德里，简作出了选择，毅然离去 ……
在寻找新的生活出路的路途中，简风餐露宿，沿途乞讨，历尽磨难，最后在泽地房被牧师圣约翰收留，并在当地一所小学任教。不久，简得知叔父去世并给她留下一笔遗产，同时还发现圣约翰是她的表兄，简决定将财产平分。圣约翰是个狂热的教徒，打算印度传教。他请求简嫁给他并和他同去印度。简拒绝了他，虽然时间已逝多年，但埋在简心中的对罗契斯特的深沉的爱依旧没有变质，简再一次开始了自己的旅程，奔向爱的方向，回到了此时已瞎了的罗契斯特身边，到达了属于他们两的幸福的伊甸园。
故事到这画上了圆满的句号，整本书读下来没有琼摇小说的绵长，也不见金庸小说的大侠之风，作者笔下的“简爱”让我体会到了生活中要学会坚强。在困难面前不要退缩，时刻对生活充满希望， 幸福才会降临身边。

毛概读书笔记
《青春之歌》读后感
青春对于每一个人都是珍贵的 ，在这短暂的青春里，倘若能做些刻骨铭心的事情，生命的价值也许就会大放光彩。这是我最喜欢的小说之一，第一次读这本小说是在老师的推荐下，然而现在重新拾起这本红色小说却体会到与之前完全不同的感受。
这本小说是当代作家杨沫的代表作，这部小说描写的是从九一八到一二九运动期间的一些感人至深的学生运动的情形，小说的主人公也是我最喜欢的坚强的女青年林道静。小说描写了以林道静为代表的一代优秀青年在奋不顾身的加入中国共 产 党的同时坚强不屈的反对封建统治，对抗日本帝国主义的侵略，因为爱国，而冒着生命危险去组织参加一些爱国活动。 小说中那些顽强不屈的爱国主义精神与年轻的满腔热血深深的感动到了身上的每一根神经。 出生在和平年代的我们早已体会不到那些革命年代的氛围，革命这个词在今天看来已无法体会它在那个年代的特殊含义，可是当走进小说读到林道静，卢嘉川，许宁等人物的时候，不知道为什么，有种强烈的感觉想到跟他们一起要为祖国做点什么，也许是他们这些人身上冒死无畏惧的精神感染了我。
小说中的女主角林道静有着钢铁一般坚强和顽固的性格，她是不幸的，生活的种种无奈使他离开那个自己憎恨的家庭，命运却是奇怪的，她在出走后不断碰见形形色色的人物，从对于生命无奈到寻思，从突如其来的爱情到热爱生活，从接触北大学生到一心想要加入中国共 产 党，也许命中注定她的青春是多彩的。
当她真正的接触到革命思想，于是在这思想的感染下献身抗日救亡爱过运动，两次走入牢房，在那里也没有停止过对革命的强烈热爱无论是农民抢麦运动还是一二九学生运动，都没有使她放弃对革命的执着，毅然决然的坚定自己的信念，这种永不言弃和坚强的精神实在的难能可贵的。
在今天看来，那些年代早已经离我们远去，现在的中国是安宁，强大，繁荣昌盛来形容也不足为过，这一切都离不开那些用青春来冒死拯救祖国的先辈们，更离不开伟大的中国共 产 党在一切患难中不屈不挠的带领着人民走出患难，建立一个强大的共产主义国家。所以在能享受一切和平的年代里，我们是幸福的 ，虽然我们的生命中无法再亲身经历那些铁血洗礼的革命，但是对祖国的热爱放在今天也是同样的充满激情。
